Chicken Caesar Salad

- 1 julienned chicken breast
To marinate the chicken;
- 3 tablespoons of milk
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon of sweet pepper powder
- 1 teaspoon of thyme
- Salt and pepper
For the croutons;
- 3-4 slices of stale toast bread
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic
For Caesar sauce;
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 full teaspoon of mustard
- 3 cloves grated garlic
- juice of 1 lemon
- 4 tablespoons grated Parmesan (you can also use Izmir parmesan cheese)
- 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon grape molasses
- Salt, black pepper
For the salad;
- 1 piece roughly hand-chopped lettuce
- Top with grated Parmesan (or Izmir tulum cheese)
- If you want the chicken to soak in the marination mixture for at least 1 hour and not be too oily, drain the sauce and cook it in an oil-free pan until golden brown.
- Cut the toast into cubes and fry it in a pan, mixing it with olive oil and finely chopped garlic.
- Roughly chop the lettuce by hand and place it in a salad bowl.
- Mix all the sauce ingredients well and combine with the lettuce.
- Place croutons and chicken on top and serve.
